How it Works

We collect waste wood from the construction industry and other producers of wood waste and recycle it, helping reduce the amount of wood needlessly going to landfill.

Become a volunteer in St Albans! Make new friends, increase your confidence, get work experience, gain some wood working skills and do something worthwhile.

Our Wood Shop

We sell recycled timber at bargain prices - ideal for DIY and gardening projects or fuel for wood burning stoves. We also have recycled wood products & furniture for sale.

We are a financially self-supporting not-for-profit social enterprise

Our income is derived from the charges we make from our waste wood collection service and from sales of wood and wood products. Any surplus is reinvested in the business and in providing volunteer and training to local people and work experience to volunteers from many backgrounds.
